Users report that taking apple cider vinegar or the supplement curbs hunger cravings and makes them feel full longer after a meal. When combined with diet and exercise this could be every woman’s ticket to a thinner waistline.

How to Take Apple Cider Vinegar Supplements

It is recommended that a healthy adult take one to two tablespoons between meals or immediately after eating. This dosage can be increased or decreased moderately based on a person’s opinion of the effectiveness of the dose.  It is recommended to mix the supplement with at least 8 to 10 ounces of water or juice to dilute the strength. Apple cider vinegar supplements are also commonly sold in pill form with an average amount of 280-300 milligrams per pill. Taking apple cider vinegar supplements in undiluted form has been known to cause severe injury to the mouth and throat as well as strip the teeth of its enamel. Some injuries from the pill form have also been reported in people who had trouble swallowing the pill on the first attempt. Long term ingestion of apple cider vinegar or its supplement has been shown to reduce bone density and may contribute to osteoporosis. If you are a woman that already has this ailment it is strongly recommended you do not take the product.
